- Sometimes I lay in bed at night wondering what happened to John Connor‘s dog Wolfie after his step parents were killed by the T1000. It’s a plot thread that bugs me.
- Saw Superman today. Such fun. I loved the dark and gritty too but what I love most it seeing the material interpreted through other eyes. I don’t believe our fables should be static with only one way of seeing them. This one is fun!
- Just discovered the world of nerdy needlepoint. Amazing.
- Anything that makes John Bolton happy is probably the wrong move.
- What if Kal El fell to earth 100 years earlier and was adopted by a Comanche
- It’s nice to come back to Blue Sky during my day. All my other feeds are filled up with AI crap. Here I can just take in all the wonderful human creativity.
- I can't say that all applications of AI are evil, but gAI in particular, and the companies that create them, can certainly be described as anti-Human.
- OpenAI as the East India Company.. Enjoyed this interview with Karen Hao open.spotify.com/episode/5Cre...
- This is what makes me think we’re in the Idiocracy timeline.
- I watched Mickey 17 tonight and loved it!
- Any other “older” visual artists out there that have eye floaters? I hate these little guys but the doc says they’re normal. I wanna take a miniature submarine in there and laser them all.
- I went to stock a needed beverage to get through Trump’s address tonight, but the LCBO already took away my favourite Napa wines!
- Watched the Dungeons & Dragons again last night. They can make a whole series of sequel to that and I will watch every damn one!

- I asked an AI Chatbot what happened to the Metaverse and my computer vanished into a puff of smoke.

- The idea of dating again after a 10 year marriage is surreal. How do you know you’re ready?
- Saw a meme about GenX being grouchy because they've had so many different music formats in their lives - vinyl, 8-track, cassettes, cds, mp3... This GenXer totally agrees! Every time it was going to be THE format. I've purchased some albums SO many times and now get it for basically free on Spotify.
- Yes I like Hawaiian pizza! Who’s with me?!
- I spent the week reading/watching both ‘left’ and ‘right’ wing news on current events and can’t believe how far apart their realities are now. We’ve known that isn’t good but we are at psychosis levels now.
- Trump’s Gaza Riviera?? Wtf
- With business folks comparing AI to a new industrial revolution, I listened again to the Luddites episode of the STSK podcast. Lots of parallels to today. #ProudLuddite www.youtube.com/watch?v=liqE...
- Beyond the monumental irony of OpenAI suddenly discovering the importance of copyright law, true or not, I think they're pushing this theft angle in an effort to have DeepSeek banned.

- Watched Nosferatu the other night. Visual and audio feast. I liked the design/costumes a lot. That fireplace scene was fantastic.
- Listening to CNBC discuss DeepSeek... Its not as good as our AI; stocks should go higher! It's better than our AI-but will help make our AI better; stocks should go higher!
- China might have just launched the largest torpedo into capitalism in decades with DeepSeek.

- Friday afternoon, Trump's net worth was estimated at ~$9.2B (half of that was the meme stock $DJT). Sunday morning, it is ~$70B. All due to his meme coin $TRUMP. How is it legal for the president to have a crypto??
- I was thinking how we don’t have bedside clocks anymore. This was the model of clock radio I had growing up. I got this as a present in 1980 and listened to my first bands like the Police on it. It’s evil red eyes glared at me from the darkness for many years.

- Not sure why the new follows tonight, but welcome folks!
- I’m so old, I had to blow into my video games to make them work.
- AI is steals from artists and discourages creativity and genuine craft. It’s built on stolen work, repackaged into soulless, blended, commercialized imitations that companies sell as “good enough.” It’s not progress; it’s exploitation, crushing the spirit of real creativity to line corporate pockets

- Just to go off on AI for a sec..again. As predicted, there are so many crap fake images flying around these days that it makes social media exhausting. California fires, UFOs, politicians, celebrities, human stunts, wildlife. You have to stop and deduce if any image you see is real. It is so tedious

- Random question. How much of your inner monologue is verbal versus nonverbal? As in how much of the time are you thinking using words versus abstractions. I think I’m 70/30 verbal myself and just wondering out loud
- I did up this animatic as well. m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uwx...

- With America about to buy Greenland (apparently) here is a map I made of it without ice using nasa data. This would be at least many, many 100s of years (1000?) from now in a worst case global warming.
