New and improved!
- McTWIST. CHURCH LIKE THE SUN. I’m dying over here
- The auto close captions for the opening ceremony are hilarious whenever someone is singing in a language that isn't English. 😂
- THE SHEEP SECTION lololololol
- It’s 3am and my body thinks it was just naptime instead of bedtime lolol my sleep is fucked.
- Do you plan on watching the Olympics? How are you watching, broadcast TV or a streaming channel?
- My tummy is saying no to almost everything today but the gyros we’re having for lunch smell so good!
- A school district showing a helluva lot more concern about one child over another is making me want to go full Karen on someone.

- This was on Reddit the other day. Looking at this very small puppy helped me calm down for a bit today.
- A teacher at the middle school is showing 95% more kindness and caring than another child received at the high school a few years ago. I'm overwhelmed (for multiple reasons) and this just tipped me over the edge.
- My middle kid is such a delight. They don’t like me to talk about them but I’m so lucky to be their mom. 💞
- I'm going to need to bribe one of the kids to do stuff today, aren't I? I miss the days I could pay them for chores in Pokemon cards.
- I’m flipping out more than usual today and so I’ve cooked or partially cooked a total of five meals. We’re actually eating country fried chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes.
- My mom wondered what I had in my freezer and so I told her: raw meat and vegetables. I think she's bought a full ham or turkey and wants to give it to me but is concerned about fridge and freezer space.
- You are made of stardust. You contain galaxies and solar systems. You are completely unique. When you can’t see this for yourself there are others who will remind you. What an amazing person you are.
- I’m so thankful for the work of Sacred Heart Music Center in Duluth. They’ve got a tribute to The Pretenders tonight and I’m watching on YouTube. Everyone there is feeling the feels like I am and it’s nice to be with folks making music. The art from this era is going to be epic.
- There is an estate sale going on across the street. Folks, I was so scared. It’s going on all day today and tomorrow and I think I’m going to need to hide in the basement family room so I don’t hear all the car doors slammming. My nerves were on edge already, this is so not cool.

- TODAY, Friday January 23rd, 2026: We are ALL residents of Minnesota. We ALL want #ICE_OutForGOOD 🚫 🧊 Also: #ICE_OUT4ReneeGood 💔
- My mom is home again! I got her all settled in and she took a nap. I drove back to my house and took a nap too. I told her we were nap buddies and we both chuckled and yawned.
- Please be kind to yourselves. I'm planning on having a nice little breakdown in the shower tonight, maybe some ice cream later.
- I'm so very glad to be in my own bed again.
- I clearly don't have the brain power to figure out how to assemble my bread bowl soup and it seems so simple but I'm just not quite getting it.
- I didn't realize that I was wearing two different shoes until much too late. Oh well, I'm too tired to care because I'm at the hospital with Mom and haven't slept yet.
- My carnitas from Loma Bonita are fantastic. There was a full five minute pause during dinner when no one was talking, just eating because it was so good. I'm so full of good food.
- I feel terrible about not helping out more but then again, I'm sick. It's hard to be stuck at home when all my friends are out there doing important things.
- I was congratulating myself for not being sick for a hot minute but then my youngest went to school and brought home a cold. Now it’s making the rounds here at home and I’m very ready for us all to be well again.
- My heart needed this Charlie Parr concert tonight. ❤️🩹
- My kid's new suspenders came in the mail today. They're exactly like the ones Uncle Lowell was buried in. 🥹

- I'm learning about how Irish music went to Newfoundland and how it didn't really change from the 1780s to about 1935 when Irish house parties with dancing and music were outlawed and had to move to a hall where immoral behavior could be policed by the local clergy.

- The field trip to Skateville is cancelled and my 8th grader is trying to be mature about their disappointment.
