- In fact, my conclusions were far too conservative and cautious. In this case (and this is rare) I now disagree with some of my own writing (particularly the insinuation that the Syrian government used chemical weapons, something which has been very credibly debunked by Aaron Maté and others).
- The facts are these: Al Qaida and ISIS are creations and proxies of US, Israeli and other Western intelligence agencies (as well as of Turkey and the now largely Zionized Gulf regimes). The CIA pumped billions of dollars into its proxy war against Syria.
