- Look at my beautiful little girl. Saga is a two-year-old Leonberger and we paid for a little photoshoot for the holidays. Because who can say no to those big brown eyes?
- Sundays mean a slightly nicer brunch (I made pancakes) and I've got chili going in the slow cooker so that we can have a nice warm bowl after we do puppy groceries and walk her.

- Tonight was our last doggy fun course for a while. Saga has been such a good girl and I'm honestly so proud of her. Despite other fun and interesting dogs, as well as Ashley whom she loves, Saga was able to train for a while off-leash. She's such a smart and lovely dog.

- Saga has been taught that we're willing to trade high-value chews (that should last more than one chew session) for high-value but smaller treats. We did this so that she would willingly give up something she really enjoys. Today, I thought she wanted to trade the end of a chew she had gotten.
- Another Saturday, another kung fu class done! Each time I find something new I enjoy about it and am reminded of the previous things I enjoyed. Kind of already wish it were next Saturday already.
- Woke up hurting once again. Have once again had the unpleasant experience of experiencing real life image lag.

- Man, fuck migraines. I plan to do stuff, and instead, I lose half the day (if I'm lucky) to having to sleep in darkness or be awake for unbelievable pain and the rest of the day to dealing with lingering pain and then brain fog.

- Walking with a puppy or young dog involves training and making sure the dog doesn't eat or do something it shouldn't. Our walks are finally reaching the point where I can actually stew about writing things, which is what I like to do. Or what I'd like to be doing when someone isn't asking about Saga

- After a busy morning of getting puppy groceries and saying hello to any creature that gave her even a hint of attention, Saga is ready for a nap.
- Today's "I'm sick, I want to rewatch my comfort movies" movie is The Mummy. A classic adventure that really makes me go... Damn, I'm bi!

- Dinner tonight was Hungarian Goulash (though an Americanized version) from the slow cooker. I knew I would be too tired after a busy Saturday and got it started this morning. It was delicious, all I had to do was some final minor seasoning and quickly boil noodles. We're definitely having that again
- Third time going to kung fu class and I still have so much fun. I know I'm going to ache later but it's worth it.
- I've got spaghetti bolognese going in the slow cooker. I've got some cleaning to do and then tonight is the first d&d of the new year!

- trying desperately to hold on to any glimmer of hope
- I feel sick with dread, helpless, and anxious for friends and family in the US. Last time, when the outlook was that this man would win, someone I was friendly with online, liked, and hoped to get to know better walked into the woods and did not come back. I'm going to try to get some work done.

- Saturday is d&d and usually I'm a notorious last-minute baker. But not this time! I'm making lemon-lime sugar cookies for Saturday. I'm doing it today because tomorrow is my birthday and I also still want to bake a cake for my party on Sunday. Which is why I'm baking today.
