This once again shows that the weapon of centralized government should be dismantled. Without it, Charlie would have been just another loudmouth politico like me.
So I have empathy for Charlie. I have both empathy and sympathy for his family. They didn't ask for this.

If you live by the sword, you will probably die by the sword. I said something similar a few weeks back about a Border Patrol agent and nobody raised a ruckus about it, so on a certain level, I think we all know it's true.
That said, I'd wish Charlie a peaceful rest, but there's no doubt he's going straight to hell.
