my doctors applied to the australian government, explained my situation and the gov rejected my application
so essentially i was forced to make the choice between going blind and not having anymore kids. i very much felt forcibly chemically castrated by the government. obv not a great feeling
so, while i don't plan on having more children anymore -- that era of life has sailed -- this new treatment means i also get my fertility back and get to feel a little bit less violated by the whole situation
overall a huge win and good day.
