- 🐦 On St Stephen’s Day (26th December) is Wren Day, when men and boys would hunt a wren and display it as they paraded through their neighbourhood, before burying it, to ensure good luck for the new year. Nowadays a fake or stuffed wren is used in it’s place (3/5)
