- Folks who have academic background, I need your opinion. Do you feel you get interrupted a lot more than others? My guess is that we tend to use a lot less filler words, since they beat it out of us during school, so we have no queue to make it clear we are still talking.
- Like, it is a good thing to use less filler words during presentations and lectures, it makes you sound more clear and confident. But during casual conversation they might be serving really important purposes that we don't realize right away.

- I say this being (probably) allistic. It's not impossible to set aside your own baggage and listen to another person. It's not easy but holy shit I'd rather do that, than make another person feel alone.
- What I understand (and someone correct me if I'm wrong plz) is that autism is simply a condition where the brain processes information differently, not worse, just different. So it is like a linux computer trying to communicate to windows.
- Autistic people are already burning themselves out trying to bridge that gap. Please put in some effort and don't default into interpreting them in the worst way possible, because that is so rarely their intention. Be kinder please
