Large accounts can easily spread misinformation and propaganda, even if they don't mean to. If you aren't discerning who you follow, how can I trust you to discern what you're sharing?

“Follow back culture” was created by Russian troll farms to get their content seen on platforms that use algorithms, since “# of followers” was part of the algorithm. Not everyone following thousands is a bad actor, but the percentage is high.
