Just a warning
Don't want to be unfairly deferential to mutuals.
I deeply despise any arguments for mass-displacements of people from their homes and/or birthplaces, damn your sense of historical justice or whatnot.
And yes, I feel this way about ethnic Germans in Eastern Europe, I think that was a terrible injustice never to be repeated.
And to spell out my sub-post: I do not care how many (and I know there aren't many) indigenous advocacy groups in the Americas think mass remigration of descendants of Europeans is even an abstractly desirable thing, shamed be anyone who speaks the repulsive thought aloud.
Jan 15, 2026 00:25How does the idea that anyone is entitled to a place to the exclusion of anyone not make you shudder in disgust with yourself
It's not enough that you should know this is impractical, or even unachievable without terrible human cost: you need to know that the concept that this is just or even desirable is antithetical to humanity
It's not compatible with the idea that people are born free and innocent.
Again, I can't get over the disgust of this hypothetical dropped casually as a "controversial opinion".
This ranks somewhere near "absolute monarchy" in "ideas modern humans have moved beyond"
