Maps In The Wild
What’s a Map in the Wild? It’s a map in a real-life context, a sign, a poster, an object, perhaps quirky, perhaps unexpected. What it isn’t is a screen grab from a web site, the output from a GIS or similar.
- Van I came across this van in Cambridge city centre. This is yet another van with a compass. I like that they have a mountain and a cyclist that reminds me of home!

- Mappe Tapestry Another one from Reinder's trip to Rome. "Saw this textile work of art in Rome, in the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. It dates from 1990 and is made by Alighiero Boetti" I had never heard of Boetti, it is worth clicking on the link to look at his Mappe series.
