Do you ever suddenly realise how many jobs/professions/careers there are that you never really think about existing but it’s absolutely a job someone is paid to do and you could have had that career but you never really acknowledged it was a thing?

I could be watching dogs sprint around and talk about it with chaotic enthusiasm but NO? I’m a JEWELLER?
Nobody sat me down and told me that being a jeweller was a career option either and that’s why it took me til my late 20’s to pursue it, to be fair.
You’re just supposed to be a kid and KNOW THINGS. Know what things are JOBS. They tell you about LAWYER and DOCTOR and MARINE BIOLOGIST and ACTOR but not COMMENTATOR OF THE AGILITY COURSE PORTION OF THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB DOG SHOW (et al)????? COME ON. How are people getting that job?
