- alternatively, try asking 10 bucks for an art print at an artist alley booth and hear 10 people tell you it’s “overpriced” when you’re spending hundreds to be there. god forbid you actually want to at least earn your costs back instead of working for the exposure
- if I sound salty about this it’s because I am. my day job is also in art (3D artist) and we are not paid more than a lidl cashier for a very technical and artistic set of skills. but obviously you want your dlcs to not cost more than 10 bucks either 🙃

- now shop talk for a bit; ngl I was a little disappointed from last con sales but then I remembered we’re in the middle of absolute death of art because if people could not appreciate it before, in gen AI era they lost the last dregs of respect …and then I was no longer disappointed just depressed
