- According to the governor of the Italian region where Milan is, JD Vance and Marco Rubio will go to the Winter Olympics escorted by members of ICE. The transformation of ICE and DHS from homeland security and immigration to private squads of government officials?
- Italian journalists of RAI (the Italian major TV and public station) stopped and threatened by ICE. This should not be the narrative the US government wants to send abroad.

- Murder. No more excuses. Enough.
- UPDATE: @dropsitenews.com has obtained the very graphic video from the lady in the pink coat, which shows ICE executing yet another person in broad daylight:
- There were no murders by the government under Joe Biden. I'd rather pay 50 cents more for gas than be six feet under.

- Interesting paper in Nature Methods. Rather than having a series of time-lapse images or repeated biopsies, the authors work with one fixed section of a tissue and use the spatial organization within the tissue cell populations dynamics over time (spatial snapshot). www.nature.com/articles/s41...

- Can't argue with that

- I’ve been using timeful.app to schedule meetings and really like it. You can connect your Google Calendar and keep track of all your pending scheduling requests in one place. Would be great if more people started using it.
- From a grant reviewer’s perspective, this is also frustrating. The actual incentive has always been helping strong, innovative projects get fu nded. When the funded grants shrink, it becomes hard not to question whether our time & expertise are genuinely appreciated. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...
- So far, California wins my personal bureaucracy ranking. In and out of the state department this morning in under 20 minutes. Current admin-efficiency table: CA, NC, NM, TX (tied with Italy).
- I have never thought of that, but it is indeed true.
