- ✨ Door 21 — Pilot Whale Highly social and intelligent, pilot whales live in tight-knit family groups and are occasional visitors to UK waters. Spotting them is always a special treat on surveys. #PilotWhale #UKMarineLife #MarineMammals
- ✨ Door 20 — Manx Shearwater These incredible seabirds migrate from the UK all the way to South America — a journey of more than 10,000km. They’re masters of gliding flight and spend most of their lives at sea. 📸: ManxShearwater_RickMorris #ManxShearwater #MigrationMarvels #Seabirds
- ✨ Door 19 — Kittiwake These delicate cliff-nesting seabirds are now red-listed in the UK. Climate change and food shortages are major challenges — making monitoring more important than ever. 📸: Kittiwake_RickMorris #Kittiwake #SeabirdConservation #UKNature
- ✨ Door 17 — Bottlenose Dolphin With their curved dorsal fins and playful behaviour, bottlenose dolphins are a joy to encounter. UK coastal populations are unique and important — and our surveys help monitor their status. 📸BottlenoseDolphin_RickMorris #BottlenoseDolphin #UKCoast #Cetaceans
- ✨ Door 14 — Fulmar Often mistaken for gulls, fulmars are actually “tube-nosed” seabirds related to albatrosses! They can live for over 40 years and travel incredible distances over the open sea. 📸: Fulmar_RickMorris #Fulmar #Seabirds #OceanTravelers
- ✨ Door 7 — Northern Gannet The masters of the plunge dive! Gannets can strike the water at speeds up to 60mph, folding their wings back like arrows. Their colonies are spectacular — and vital indicators of ocean health. #NorthernGannet #Seabirds #UKWildlife 📸: Gannet_RickMorris

- Who Am I Reveal! I am a Grey Mullet! The Flathead Grey Mullet (Mugil cephalus) can leap right out of the water! They are like nature’s vacuum cleaner, eating algae and organic debris, helping keep water clean and ecosystems healthy. #GreyMullet #FishFacts #OceanLife #WhoAmIReveal
- Who Am I! I thrive in both saltwater & freshwater, cruising coastlines and estuaries alike. I’m a bit of a bottom-feeder and I travel in large schools. My name sounds a little like a trendy 80s haircut — business in the front, party in the back! Who Am I! #marineconservation #whoami #marinelife

- Who Am I Reveal! I am a Puffin! Puffins are expert Fish Carriers – they have special spines on their tongues and the roofs of their mouths, allowing them to carry multiple fish at once. Baby puffins are called pufflings, staying hidden inside burrows for weeks before making their way to the ocean.
- Who Am I! I am a small seabird with a colourful beak, sometimes called the “clown of the sea” or the “sea parrot”. I am a fantastic diver, using my wings to “fly” underwater in search of fish. I return to the same burrow every year to nest, often with the same partner. Who Am I! #whoami
- Who Am I Reveal! I am an Ocean Sunfish! Also known as Mola Mola, they can lay up to 300 million eggs at once—more than any other vertebrate! Despite their size, they mainly eat jellyfish, and they are often confused for a shark when their large dorsal fin breaks the surface! #marineconservation
- Who Am I! I am the heaviest bony fish in the ocean, sometimes weighing over a tonne! My body is almost flat and circular, and I have no real tail—just a strange-looking clavus instead! I love basking on the ocean’s surface, soaking up the sun. Who am I? Check back over the weekend to find out!
