Ep 3: Trump's ego vs. the architects of the massively unpopular Project 2025.
🧵We know Trum isn't behind Trump's agenda. He's simply incapable of thinking that strategically. If you don't know who is, you're talking about Conservative entities like the Heritage Foundation, Hillsdale College, & the reactionary billionaires funding them.
Trump does not GAFF about any of it.
🧵Trump only cares about 2 things: popularity & money. These deep-pocketed fash helped him get elected, but now every step he takes in their agenda costs him dearly of both of the only 2 things he wants.
And knowing his personality, this grates on him every second of every day.
🧵So, 1 of 2 things will happen, & I don't think it will be long before it does.
Possibility 1: These Conservative powerhouses are going to start denouncing Trump. He's dishonest, he's unchristian, he's a womanizer...there's so much to choose from tbh
🧵Possibility 2: Trump will fire at them. They're unAmerican. They're terrorists. They're losers, all his old faves.
Whichever of these things happens first, the other will soon follow, & the right will splinter, break by break, into more factions than we can count.
🧵And ngl, this is going to suck. But it will also give the rest of us an opportunity.
Which is why I think we need to start now on building what it is we actually want instead of all the bullsh*t we have now.
