- Json is so good at video work
- Good video, I talk about a lot of the ideas presented here and danger of outsourcing all cognitive and creative work to machines on the blog all the time. There's no way you can do that without tradeoffs, in fact we have plenty of ex this is true in existing areas www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcol...
- Big tech's war on hyperlinks continues. Build an email list from your followers on those platforms while you still can. The window to do this is shrinking, then may be gone forever. Eventually there will be a day you will reach no one unless you pay -whether it has links or otherwise
- New on the blog - the easy traffic days are gone. If there ever even was any sort of internet social contract, it's been broken for years. You have to operate with this in mind and can't act surprised when tactics of the past stop working www.hottakes.space/p/internet-c...
- This week's longform idea we're talking about how some friction in your life is good. Creative work isn't assembly line work. It's something different and transcendent. You want it to have real meaning, not just be faster and cheaper www.hottakes.space/p/some-frict...
- If you don't yet feel disgust when you see people (or yourself) watching short form video, you should. Here's some research if you need it. www.hottakes.space/p/short-form...

- Appreciate @profgalloway.com's ongoing effort to reach out to young men. If more of us don't do this there will just become more groypers and other extremists youtu.be/fcjmd_ClJJo?...
- Good vlog www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFit...
- Someone asked my thoughts on where AI actually makes sense, so we're writing on that this week. Both the permabears and permabulls on AI are wrong, at least when it comes to creative work. More below. www.hottakes.space/p/where-does...
- This week's longform idea, I'm asking you to resist slop world - save your soul before it's too late www.hottakes.space/p/resist-slo...
- Another attempt to try to and get everyone to talk to each other - why not? Discussion is good. Obviously with people who mean well, and I think that's most of us. www.hottakes.space/p/debate-and...
- New on the blog ...I'm tired of spammers and garden variety stock promoters gaslighting us about creativity www.hottakes.space/p/you-cant-c...
- Very much enjoyed the conversation with @ezraklein.bsky.social and Brian Eno. Worth adding to your playlist if you didn't listen www.hottakes.space/p/conversati...

- Some vibes for your Sunday soundcloud.com/adamsinger/a...
- Relevant once again this week: you can't prompt your way to meaning. AI certainly isn't useless, but I find my personal fulfillment from creative work is equal to what was sacrificed to make it. More thoughts on this topic... www.hottakes.space/p/you-cant-p...

- People are now openly bragging about blatant AI webspam operations. It's brazenly sociopathic, and incredibly dystopian. We've actually seen this movie before www.hottakes.space/p/people-are...
