- Anyone for some flying balls of fluff? 😍 The long-tailed tit is surely a strong contender for the UK's cutest bird. You can spot these #WinterWonders roaming in flocks of up to 20 during the colder months, sometimes with other tit species. Have you seen any on your local patch recently? 🤔
- A compulsory addition to our #WinterWonders, this exciting bird doesn't breed in the UK, but can often be found gorging on berries in shop car parks. Did you know that waxwings can get drunk if the berries have been fermenting? 🙈 Let us know if you've seen this winter visitor. 👀 #Cumbria

- This gloriously fluffy December moth looks dressed for the season, don't you think? Today's #WinterWonder is one of the few moths you'll spot at this time of year. No Christmas dinner for these guys though – they don't actually feed, instead relying on energy reserves built up as a caterpillar.

- This #NationalTreeWeek, we want to highlight how useful fallen leaves are for both our wildlife and our gardening needs. 🍂 They're used by hibernating wildlife like hedgehogs, form warmer micro-climates that protect garden plants and invertebrates and even create cosy beds for our staff! 😉
