- Last night, I signed up to participate. Already working on my preliminary drawing, which I hope to finish within a couple of weeks. Since elephants are the mascots of Alzheimer's organizations, I'll be doing one of them. #postcardartexhibit26 #Artists #Art

- I will do too.
- I was hoping that you would. Your watercolors would be perfect for this project. The deadline is April 6th, but March 9 is the deadline for being in the catalog. I'm not sure if mine will arrive for the catalog, but it definitely will by April 6th. Hope that you'll share your postcard!Feb 3, 2026 19:33
- Yes. And this time it is in Netherlands.
- Yes, that's one of the reasons I signed up. I want to be in an exhibit in Vincent van Gogh's homeland.
- Welcome 😁. We are also the land of Rubens, René Magritte ;)
- Those 2 artists are very different, aren't they? I like the humor & off kilter elements of Magritte. I used to sketch some of the horses in Rubens pictures from art books when I was young. As an adult I also appreciate his portraits.
- Yes they are far apart, I enjoy both also there are Jan van Eyck, Expressionist James Ensor and aahhaaann Delvaux.
- I'm not familiar with Ensor and Delvaux, so now I need to learn about them. It's always good to find new artists(to me). I did a paper in school on Expressionism, so I should know about him, but do not. Augh! Thanks for telling me about them.
