- Earlier this week, a Utah District Court struck down a gerrymandered map, giving power back to the people. The decision in Utah affirmed what we already knew to be true: we must hold leaders accountable when they violate the will of the people and try to cement power through partisan gerrymandering.

- At 2:00 a.m., Texas Republicans passed their racially gerrymandered congressional map. At 8:00 a.m., we at the National Redistricting Foundation, with ELG sued Texas. As everything moves at light speed, let this serve as a reminder that racial gerrymandering is illegal.
