Icelandic Vision Lab
Icelandic Vision Lab focuses on all things visual with a major emphasis on higher-level or "cognitive" aspects of vision: visionlab.is This is a joint account run by IVL PIs (Ásgeirsson, Hansmann-Roth, Kristjánsson, Ólafsdóttir, Sigurdardottir).

- Reposted by Icelandic Vision Lab#neuroskyence people (maybe vision people in particular): how do you think information is "read out" from the visual system? Do downstream areas like PFC get to query anything from V1 to IT? Or just later areas? How plastic are these readouts? Etc. IMO this is always under constrained in modeling.
- Reposted by Icelandic Vision Lab🧠✨How do we rebuild our memories? In our new study, we show that hippocampal ripples kickstart a coordinated expansion of cortical activity that helps reconstruct past experiences.
