- Thanks to everyone who came to see me at Comiccon this weekend! Those who haven't seen me since last year may have noticed a small change: I've lost 73 lbs (33 kg) since August 2024. I went from 267 lbs (121 kg) to 194 lbs (88 kg).
- As I entered my 40s, I wanted to take a healthier turn and rethink my relationship with food. I've been asked several times what my "secret" is. There isn't really one: I started counting my calories, with the goal of putting myself in a calorie deficit.
- I calculated what my body needed in terms of calories based on my current weight, age, and height, but also how much it needed to be to lose 1-2 lbs per week. I didn't want to go on a restrictive diet, fasting or excessive deprivation; my goal was to change my eating habits for the rest of my life.

- "Congratulations, you're old!" I guess it's my turn now! I'm glad to feel the way I do at 40. I made several lifestyle changes in the past year and it's probably the best thing I can gift myself at the turn of a new decade. If anything, I feel better than I did at 30. And I'm happy about that.
