- I appreciate that in the end of "Bugs and Thugs," Bugs Bunny is a some sort of Detective subset to the Animation Guild, Local 839.
- Here's a freebie to any gangster rapper from the 90s:
- If Bugs Bunny was a Dr. Wily-style Mega Man boss:
- Good Bugs Bunny face in "Mutiny on the Bunny (1950)"
- Laura Antonelli WILL return in Avengers: Doomsday as...
- A horror/thriller moment where a person is taking laundry off a clothesline before danger strikes, except they're all Wildwood boardwalk shirts like "The man the legend" and a fisherman being sucked off by a fish.

- Campers never prosper.
- "Home is where you hang your baudy pinup calendar." - Harpo Marx, dictated not read.
- Catherine O'Hara. Really made me think about how important she was as her obvious maternal roles in childhood favs, but her expert comedy skills and demented humor (Beetlejuice, Schitt's Creek, all the Guests) made them more real somehow, a more vibrant presence that made her emotion genuine. RIP.

- My annual Oscar Best Pictures as Simpsons moments, 2026 edition:
- The Devil and Miss Jones (1941)
- Reading "In a Lonely Place" after seeing the movie. In the movie, the lead writes by being forced by deadlines and distracts himself by narrating everything around him into stories. In the book, he writes by not writing at all and going out all the time instead. Both are accurate depictions.
- What is grief but the easiest route to Oscar noms persevering?
- Ethan Hawke been great ya chumps
- Pick up the nearest book. Turn to page 42, post the second sentence. "He was still broke, and he was still in dental hell." (Down and Dirty Pictures)

- Sorry but it's Big Trouble. While it's a fun watch it's a modest joy compared to some of its clear influences, and the closest ones on that tier I can think of (Starman, Prince of Darkness) are pretty distinct and unique constructs.
- Resurrection (2025, Bi Gan)
- Ninajirachi - I Love My Computer: I was skeptical perhaps for no good reason but a grower, a DJ set as narrative to youth finding analog response in a digital world, immediately nostalgic for the youth they're still part of, making the EDM bleeps and bloops their own youthful howls.
