Mostly here talking about Tottenham Hotspur but will also share video work and other things
- Interesting in that I think this gives an indication Danso's injury is maybe not as severe as first rumoured. If he was out for 6 months, they surely would have just added Bissouma instead. Also (imo) confirms Bergvall's injury timeline is better than Bentancur's
- I dont believe Bayern will drop £100m for a CB in his 1st year of T5 senior football Only R.Madrid are a credible risk of taking Cuti Worst-case scenario, its unlikely more than 1 player agitates an exit in a window This many rumours of discontent will almost certainly lead to Frank being sacked
- I am no fan of over-officiating but in my opinion that is a penalty for Arsenal
- I think the Romero statement has been blown WAY out of proportion. However, if Cuti wants to captain a mutiny against the board, he has my wholehearted support
- Exclude Maddison and Davies from HG list. Then exclude Kulusevski, Souza, Danso (if injury rumours are true) then one of Bentancur or Bergvall depending on injury prognosis. All of the injuries make it relatively simple
- Weird game. Flat and pretty dull for the majority, but if Spurs had even a few more first team players available, I think they might have won
- If injury rumours are true, maybe Spurs go with something like this? (Subs are guesses at who comes off for whom, not necessarily those positions). Tottenham have beaten City with worse XI's but can't see it happening today
- Spurs out of possession approach is terrible
- That was a broadly ‘fine’ half, which is a lot better than what they have occasionally produced
- Cannot fathom how there are Spurs fans who don’t rate Odobert
- Prepare for some of the most disingenuous nonsense to be peddled as ‘reasonable concerns’
- I do wonder whether the idea is simply to get Robertson high and wide same as Porro and be able to spam crosses from both sides, rather than just one. Build wide, deep cross, shot/knock down/win a set piece. Rinse and repeat
- Hoping to see many more of these kinds of wins! Labour figures are revealing but not remotely surprising
- Man, FBref is one of my most visited sites. Very sad news

- Very nice win. Some clear simple possession patterns and good out of possession stuff. I didn’t mind the second half drop off considering the decimated squad availability. Small caveat was I think most Premier League teams would have beaten Dortmund tonight based on their performance
- We rarely know much about these things, but Rafi is meant to be good. Biggest issue still seems to be Lange's inconsistent talent identification of players and managers, but I personally welcome having another person in the room who might pop up and say 'how about signing someone who can pass?'
- Benching the progressive passer convo for a moment, I do think Spurs need to look at RW with Kudus and Kulusevski still out for a while Going into next season with Tel, Odobert, Xavi, Maddison, Kulusevski, Akliouche and Kudus would be extremely good technical depth
- In addition to it not really solving any of Spurs' profile issues, I am concerned signing Gallagher will contribute to the continuation of profiling Bergvall as a 10
- 'Magic manager' thinking is a trap... ...a trap I am diving into head first
- Very enjoyable 2nd half (all things considered). Tel making big strides. Odobert and Xavi also played well. Palhinha blood and thunder. I personally think a lot of the second half impetus came from Ben Davies. Would keep him in the starting XI as Destiny is eased back
