- YEP. i can't help but feel whenever i see people asking about artstyles what they're really fishing for is some magic shortcut to bypass practice lol
- truly my biggest pet peeve of being some fucking guy who posts art online is the expectation to teach if someone is very nice about asking. i used to teach art, it was great. but it was also SO much work to translate years of learning + practice into learnable steps
- mostly bc that doesnt really actually exist ? you can break down a drawing into steps but what ppl rly have to learn is how to think about form and just. fucking practice if they want to make anything original
- no amount of step by step tutorials spoon fed to u will save ur ass if u do not practice fundamentals
