- Some birding this afternoon with my colleague @tanjabrendel.bsky.social. Nice to test out my new gear. Fully overcast bordering foggy, so not the best light conditions. I didn't shoot raw, and only made some quick unedited crops. This is going to be a fun kit to work with!
- Some more birds. Only cropped. I guess I could have kicked the ISO up a bit further. But this is what you get for a f9 at 800 mm shot handheld in the very late afternoon (about an hour before dark!). I cannot complain, I am very happy with the results :). #birds
- And why not more #birds shot today? Depending on what the weather will do, I might try some more songbirds, and some Accipitriformes in the peatland that is literally my front yard. On the way to the water bird place I spotted Hen harrier, Kestrel, Buzzard and a fat goshawk in two minutes time.Jan 17, 2026 20:21
