- My question as ever is at what point does this granularity wash out a decent sample size of shots of these types?
- My take with Villa and xG is that sometimes you really can get ten heads in a row on a coin flip and it helps when you're not leaking goals either. Also winning has its own affect that often gets dismissed in these conversations because games are not isolated discrete events.
