- #Febchantment Everyone has mana, and anyone can learn to tap into it, but few do. Etheri culture is separate from the rest of the world, and non-Etheri aren't really privy to how any of it works. Using mana is learned, though not everyone is proficient. Poor mana control=support role w/in village.
- #Febchantment Day 5 Tell us about who can wield magic in your world! Is it available to everyone, or only a special few? Is it a gift you're born with, or a skill you can learn? Is the knowledge gatekept in some way? Don't forget to read & interact with others! 😁 #writingcommunity #writesky

- #WholesomeWednesday We're resetting the vibes. Share a wholesome story, some good news, some motivation, and/or a pet photo (please add alt text). #Hopecore #Prompt #GoodVibes #Positivity #Wholesome #BeKind
- #Febchantment Mana: magic/energy Mana stores: personal well of mana Soma: physical gesture that helps channel a mana ability Illusion: specialized mana skill, manifesting your thoughts in others Attuned: rare people particularly attuned to the ether (extra mana, extra strong, etc)
- #Febchantment Day 4 Vocab time! Tell us about some important terms we need to know to understand your magic system. Obviously, make sure you include the definitions! 😁 As usual, interpret the prompt however makes sense to you! Don't feel limited only to conlang words. #writingcommunity #writesky

- Foundationally, it's elemental. The ether is in everything. People can manifest it using different elements (casting fire, earth, air, etc), or they can channel it toward more physical strength, but it all comes back to this sort of elemental building-block. #Etheri #Febchantment

- #Febchantment ETHERI's magic is on the softer side for a few reasons. - strictly defined rules aren't my personal favorite* - mana=life itself kinda magic is inherently more intrinsic/vibes - MC (our POV) isn't a scholar and doesn't know everything - some disagreement in-world on magic vs science
- #Febchantment Day 2 Do you have a "hard" or "soft" magic system? In other words, does your magic system have strictly defined rules (think: Brandon Sanderson's books)? Or is it more undefined, mostly vibes/rule of cool (think: Gandalf from LOTR)? Somewhere in between? #writingcommunity #writesky
- pls i love them 😭

- I'm Sage 👋 Etheri Trilogy: Etheri are those who are tapped into the ether—science, magic, life itself! Etheri culture is mostly-separate from non-Etheri culture; life moves slower, and things are pretty simple. Until they get to fighting. Then it's like 🏃♂️🔥👊🤸✨🗡️🐺🤼♂️ Such action! Much adventure! Wow!

- You might like the resilience of ETHERI (Action/Adventure), both the self-searching and the fight scenes. You might like the queerness of TOUCHED (Romantasy), which has been called "a sweet little awakening story." Ko-fi, Itch, and other options! linktr.ee/sagetgreene #QueerWritersChat
- ETHERI has many such moments: I took a good look at everyone on the platform—my friends, my team. The bitter sting of defeat permeated the air between us and covered the platform with a shroud of mourning. I set my jaw; sorrow would come later, but for now, I needed to step up. #QueerWritersChat
- Sometimes it's resistance against heteronormativity or the small town I grew up in. Sometimes it's writing about the times we're in. I keep a journal by the bed to write down my dreams. This was from September. I haven't shared it before because it's fucking depressing 🫠 (ICE) #QueerWritersChat
- Resistance takes so many forms; each form complements the others, and they're all important. One thing I cling to is persistence. As in, WE WILL PERSIST. Continuing to create, find joy, etc. It's the thing that's worth fighting for, and it's the thing that buoys us as we fight. #QueerWritersChat
- Sorry I'm late! I feel I have some relevant answers 💪 I'm Sage 👋 My primary WIP is a paranormal mystery. Hunting cryptids, set in a small town in 2005. Midwest Nostalgia x Twin Peaks: Cozy Edition. Very queer! #QueerWritersChat
- RIP Catherine O'Hara 💚 I've watched Schitt's Creek at least 5 times; it will forever be one of my comfort shows. I also loved her and Eugene Levy in Best in Show. God loves a terrier, and we love Catherine O'Hara!
