- Reposted by Chasten Glezman ButtigiegI care deeply about who Michigan will elect as Governor and send to the U.S. Senate next year, but I have decided against competing in either race. I wrote more here about my decision and how I view the work required of us all in this moment:
- Families pinching pennies at the checkout are now losing federal support at their kids' schools because some billionaires in Washington want more tax breaks. Less help for you means more money for them.
- If Linda McMahon and the Department of Education believe in "efficiency and accountability" (after laying off half of the department), then I'm sure they'll gladly publish a list of every position that has been eliminated and why that position is no longer needed.
- As a former teacher, I'm sick of their bluster and obfuscation. Show your work!
- If todays X outage is truly a cybersecurity issue, then let me draw your attention to Musk hijacking a two billion dollar FAA contract for himself with Starlink equipment that hasn’t been rigorously tested for cybersecurity concerns. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
- For those asking, “Why don’t republicans push back?” Here’s your answer. Speak up, and MAGA/Elon will send the worst types of people on the internet after you. “…they are intimidated by the prospect of online attacks from Mr. Trump and Elon Musk… and frightened for the safety of their families.”
- If they won’t show up to town halls, won’t speak up to the president, and won’t defend the most bi-partisan things like air traffic controllers and pediatric cancer research - then all they’re doing is using you for an easy paycheck. America needs bold leadership, not freeloaders.

Here’s an opportunity for Congress to come together and support one another - members should be able to vote their conscience and speak up for their constituents.
