- So proud to have contributed to this important research, even though the truth is so heartbreaking.
- Our pre-print on EcoEvoRxiv 👉 ecoevorxiv.org/repository/v... "Dingo abundance and density was estimated as 77 (64–94) individuals and 0.014 (0.012–0.017) dingoes/km²—lower than previously reported estimates—and varied significantly in response to aspects of the fire regime and distance from roads."

- Spotted this tiny legend while out doing field work, a western pygmy possum. These tiny marsupials play an important ecological role and are a testament to the biodiversity still persisting in our semi-arid systems. #FieldworkFinds #WesternPygmyPossum #WildOz

- The Vice President of the VFF continued to push harmful "wild dog" rhetoric at the Nhill "community" meeting on Wednesday night. This is just one voice clip highlighting the serious misinformation being spread. #dingocoexistence #DingoesNOTwilddogs

- Some photo comparisons of #Gariwerd NP before and after the recent bushfire. It’s absolutely devastating—over 70% of the park has burnt. Heartbreaking to see. #BushFires #WildOz #BushfiresAustralia #GariwerdNationalPark #Grampians #GrampiansNationalPark #GariwerdBushfire #GrampiansBushfire

- Very curious indeed! It is well known that 1080 and PAPP kill dingoes!

- Second video of the supposed "dingo".
- In what world is this a #dingo? 😏 The Weekly Times are doubling down on their story of dingoes in the Little Desert. Their anonymous "expert" with 20 years "experience" might want to go to spec savers. It would be funny if it weren't so dangerous. #dingonotwilddog #dingoconservation #redfox #fox

- Two adult females teaching one of the 2024 pups the social hierarchy. It's hard to fathom that this population could very well soon be gone. #Dingonotwilddog #Dingo #Bigdesertdingo #DingoResearch #BigDesert #WildOz #Mammals
- Contrary to the popular belief that black dingoes are rare, they are a common occurrence within the Big Desert dingo population. 🐾 #Dingo #Dingonotwilddog #Mammals #WildOz #Conservation #DingoResearch #BigDesert #DingoColour #BigDesertDingo
