- i think i nailed that hazy sonic 06 look #godot
- who else watched those sonic 06 super sonic mod videos in yearning? kid me would be so jealous #godot
- game netcode is pain!!!111!!!!1!!! but fun meanwhile i figured out an extremely basic follow camera for 3d platformers that doesnt require a pivot camera (ignore the missing face, bad shaders sonic model) #godot
- i dont wanna alarm anyone but the cats are getting jobs... in godot
- godot cat :3
- cat
- godot 4.4 is really really good (vertex shading, jigglebones, lookatmodifier)
- Reposted by comidev#GodotEngine 4.4 is finally here! 🚀 Look forward to plenty of quality of life improvements hidden within this release. Faster load speeds, reduced stutter, streamlined processes, and more! godotengine.org/releases/4.4/
- its literally the best feeling when people play the games you make. like i poured my soul into this thing and now others can enjoy it, the feeling is so awesome
- Made a small platformer with @josh.caladia.dev!! SUPER proud of this one!!! Please check it out if you have time :) comicnight.itch.io/wibbly-treas... #brackeys #gamejam #godot

- FINALLY conquered my camera system issues, and all it took was giving up and installing the (really cool) phantom cam addon xd although most of my code is the same so far, the camera switching priority system is going to save me a lotta stress :D
- brb playing sonic adventure 2 to inspire my indie platformer more 🐐
- just godot sonic things
- yeah
- never really touched lightmap baking in godot before so this was a fun little side adventure :3 also obligatory unleashed sonic cuz unleashed is beautiful
- thinking and testing using texture cards for the face details instead of poly mesh. both have their upsides and downsides but i really like how this looks already
- remaking my camera system for my platformer, gonna use more nodes to allow easy switching between the default follow camera and custom camera types excited to overhaul cause i know the results will be worth it but ackkkk somewhat boring to recode it all :(((
- watched sonic movie 3 its PEAK. there are things im not a fan of but for the most part its genuinely really good
- godot wild jam day 2 BIGGG changes, LOTS of audio stuff, but im too lazy to record audio atm!! (about a dozen randomized ambient sounds) new props, interactable windows, buttons, and a small minigame within a window! (janky but its jam stuff so) (also surprise character at end :)) #gamedev
- puter
- godot wild jam day 1 im starting a lil late unfortunately but imma try and make the most of my time!! came up with a game concept, began modeling props and environment. started on the camera transition system. AND the monitor uses a viewport texture for the screen with a subviewport :)
- game jam time
- my workflow for level design atm is small segment first pass, then replay it a few times, realize i want a new level mechanic, model and code new level mechanic, insert into level, repeat pre-planning? actual thought? nah. vibes and we ball
