- I’m finally very close to finishing my first dissertation copy. I can barely believe it. I feel there’s so much more I should have addressed but I’ll allow myself to be proud for some sense of completion!

- I just switched my pharmacy. The new pharmacist looked at my bill and was clearly bothered for how much I still had to pay. “Diabetes is expensive,” I said. “On top of that, you still have to prove to need these meds all the time.” He couldn’t fix my bill, but his compassion felt like a kind hug.
