- This week is #NationalGriefAwarenessWeek. I’ve been thinking about how difficult it’s going to be to carry grief across Christmas & New Year celebrations. I've written about things that could help as mum started to decline in Xmas & I lost her in the New Year dementiawho.com/coping-with-...
- There are days when “I’m okay” is the only answer I can give. Talking about grief can open up more than people expect. They don’t see the holding back, the editing, the effort to stay composed. This is what grief actually looks like. #NationalGriefAwarenessWeek #griefjourney
- It’s #NationalGriefAwarenessWeek , so I wanted to talk about the parts of grief that rarely get mentioned, especially after caring for a loved one with dementia. The reality is you cope with the support you have, or you reach a point where you need more help.
- Gwent Carer's Hub are offering their annual carer activity packs, they have limited availability so its on a first come first serve basis. We got one last year full of art supplies, but I don't know what's in this years. Well worth trying to get one!
