- Returned to my car, Grey Toyota Aygo, in the hospital carpark to find an identical Aygo parked next to it. It appears that I'm not the only person who, when they spot a similar car in the carpark, will attempt to park next to it so the car will have a little friend to talk to while I'm away.
- it's nine-fifteen. I've realised I've been wearing my cardie inside out all day. Luckily it's blowy weather and my zip-up padded coat concealed this when I went into town. Still got a nod fromone of the Costa regulars; an older gent, there most days, quietly reading his paperback. Have I pulled?
- Head gasket blown, she's 16 years old, 126,000 miles, sadly it's Kurtains, for Kara the Ford Ka, it would Kost more to fix her than she's worth (at least in money).
