- The first three episodes of Fallout's sophomore season were definitely the weakest, but episode 6 getting a 7.9 rating is a load of bollocks.
- Decided to finish this cartography exercise in spite of the maaaany mistakes I made along the way, and even though I'm not happy with the end result at all, I learned a lot from it!
- Are hex stamps as gamechanging as they look, or are they overhyped? Been thinking of getting one, since constantly printing hex sheets is a bit of a hassle. What's the ideal size and material for a hex stamp, in y'all's experience?
- I watched a few Actual Play reels on Instagram and now the algorithm thinks I'm obsessed with 5e content. Worse yet, I can't seem to bring back all the cool art, maps and OSR stuff they used to show me before. Rest in peace, carefully curated feed.
- So, is Kay Vess from Star Wars Outlaws a Ranger with some Rogue levels, or is she a Rogue with some Ranger levels?

- I literally replay Morrowind every other year, so there's that. Some vanilla mechanics can be improved by mods, but that's true of EVERY Bethesda game. But sure, Bruce, Skyrim's tropey world and dumbed down gameplay is what we REALLY want. That's why Starfield is such a beloved title!
- "Go back and play Morrowind and tell me that’s the game you want to play again," said Bruce Nesmith, who worked for Bethesda for over 17 years, adding that playing The Elder Scrolls 3 "would not stand the test of time." bit.ly/4q4GoKh
- First time messing around with markers. Don't know if I'll try this again anytime soon, lmao
- Some cartography practice from today. I absolutely suck at traditional art, but my partner gave me a bunch of art supplies, so I'm been giving this a shot. My hand hurts, but I'm having fun!
- Obsessed with these artworks by Naoyuki Kato.

- Out of all the things I made last year, this is probably my favourite creation, and I *did* write a whole-ass elfgame (which I still haven't released, lmao).
- This is lowkey the best take on hireling rules I've ever seen, and I found it on an old Reddit thread by pure chance. All credit goes to the original poster, u/IdleDoodler.

- I'm always on the verge of running Shadowrun 2e to traumatize my crunch-phobic friends, but so far, the Matrix subsystems and some nonsensical rules* have prevented us from experiencing 2e's full glory. *Just HOW can 7 be a higher difficulty than 6, when ANY reroll will get you to 7 at the minimum?
- Finally got a chance to watch 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, and while the previous film is still my favourite, there's a lot to love in the sequel. Everything with Samson and Doc Kelson is A+. Spike and the Jimmy Cult, not so much. Nevertheless, it's still a solid addition to the series.
- I swear I'm just gonna shadow drop this thing someday. The biggest impediment to finishing Arch Enemy has been the layout, as I tried to go full-maximalism with it, and that burned me out something fierce. Lesson learned, though. Oh, and ICYMI, Arch Enemy is my love letter to the Nemesis system!
- Lifepaths. It's always lifepaths. Honestly, I don't know why I haven't added that to any of my games, tbh.
- I have this unfortunate habit of working on maps for hours and hours and ending up shelving them for years. This one was meant for a pointcrawl through Fallout's Post-War Alaska, but alas, none of my friends/players were into the franchise. Now that the Amazon series is out, I might try again!
- 1/ This has been my biggest struggle when it comes to getting people into the hobby. Player 1 wants to be a Jedi, Player 2 wants to be a Terminator, Player 3 wants to be Mad Max and Player 4 wants to be Legolas. The first three would have a blast with AW, but they all want the "D&D experience".

- Here's the format I use for overworld encounters, personalising the specifics for each region: Roll a d12* on each table. If any die is a 1 or a 2, the encounter is a surprise. If any die is a 12, the party spots the encounter from afar. Doubles determine how many NPCs/enemies are encountered.

- The Rage Across books were super problematic (and sometimes borderline unplayable), but Rage Across New York had some interesting, out-there choices when it came to content. Gotta love how they included a pollution map with Garou glyphs, a gorgeous battle map and cutout minis!
- Excellent thread. I'm on camp "random encounter + random activity" for the sake of making the world feel lived-in, but it's undeniable that random encounters that happen *to* the PCs are more engaging than those they just stumble upon (see: Prismatic Wasteland's Encounter Checklist).
- >looking for a new table >ask a GM at the LGS if their table is OSR or Trad >he doesn't understand |pull out diagram explaining what is OSR and what is Trad >he laughs and says "it's a good table, sir" >join the table >it's Trad

- I should really get around to finishing/repurposing this game sometime.
