- Lifeline for Virg. Let’s hope we click a little more in the final third and tighten up at the back. We are still in this game. It’s not all been bad. Just need to get rid of this weak underbelly that we have.
- We play walking football in the final third. Slow. Predictable. We have no one in a goal scoring area to find with a cross. Side to side, slowly. Sometimes we get in behind, then we have to try and find one player in amongst 5 defenders. Other times, we just give the ball away so meekly.

- Bit of Bobby magic because it’s Friday and we all deserve it.
- Wirtz has to play 90 every game. We are simply less without him.
- Against low blocks we have struggled. It is quite simple, someone has to beat their opposite number. It creates space as defenders have to vacate their zones to close down the ball. Frimpong did it the other day. This time Bradley. Our shape and tactics don’t really allow us to isolate defenders.
- Slot asked if Salah has played his last game for the club. Answered “I don’t know” That answer is poor. He should have given an answer that implied he wanted Salah back playing and scoring as soon as possible. He also should have spoken to Salah. He’s not handling this well.
- Has Jurgen got some energy back? Asking for a friend.
- Before anyone criticises a player or manager, just look at what has happened. A player is unhappy. What will happen now is that someone carries the can. Slot goes or Salah goes. If no action is taken soon, both go. Maybe more. This is a mess.

- We aren’t very good at passing or controlling the football.
- I hope we get an angry and focused Salah. No shots ballooned over or mis-hit wide. First half hat trick and then spend the second half creating chances for Wirtz. That’ll do.
