- #UKTTRPGCONVENTIONS How I currently run my con games including a couple of nifty things I’ve discovered: We all use folded bits of paper, or file cards or, if we’re REALLY clever, a drywipe card clipped into a Dragonbane base, for people to write their names and characters on. Right? 1
- Post your favorite "Lord of the Rings" character. Wrong answers only.

- Which is why a Safe social media platform set up and run by the BBC would be a good idea.
- #TTRPGTHOUGHTS 1 Recurring themes in TTRPGs. What do Michael Moorcock, Jeff Lynne and me have in common? We all re-use old material. I’m pretty sure I’ve read an interview where Moorcock refers to this is like recurring themes i n a Bach piece, slowly building to a fugue-like state. 1
- Neat* take. Some designers think they also fit in the fans category - but may not actually fit in either being neither Veteran nor Diehard. (Look’s ruefully in the mirror.) *Word chosen carefully.
- Reposted by Simon Burley 🔜 RevelationGM: Charisma check. Mamdani: [rolls natural 20] GM: that’s a d6 how did you Mamdani: [direct to camera] Did you know you can check out board games at your local public library? 😊
- Last.
- If you see this, quote with a robot that isn’t from “Star Wars”, “Star Trek”, “Dr. Who”, or “Transformers.”
- You HAVE all read Howard writing Cthulhu? The (modern day) hero tearing his ancestor’s broadsword down from it’s place above the fireplace before rushing up the attic to hack the monstrosity to pieces!
- #UKTTRPGCONS Game submissions have just opened for Tabletop Scotland apparently. I can’t confirm. I’m having trouble negotiating the web-site. The details stored on my iPad won’t sign me in. The details emailed to me by the web-site last year won’t sign me in. Neither can change my password. 1
- #TTRPGTHOUGHTS 1 Got any good locations for games set in “the real world”? At a recent convention (this is not a con post, honest!) I was lucky enough to play in a “Rivers of London” game. (Basically, modern day Call of Cthulhu). The designer and Referee based it around two things. 1
