We are testing our kids too much. We should certainly teach them problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Have these high stakes tests really made our schools better? Time for change.
#GoodWin4TexasI appreciate the endorsement from the Austin American Statesman editorial board! They recognize the importance of experience.
Early voting starts Feb. 17.

Thank you, Area 5 Democrats, for your endorsement! I understand your club has been around since 1952 and serves Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, and the city of South Houston. I look forward to the Area 5 Fabulous Brunch on Feb. 28, and block walking with you! Let's make some change!
#Goodwin4TexasWomen in Texas deserve healthcare decisions free from government interference. The abortion ban is costing lives and has set back women’s rights decades. As Lt Governor, I will restore these rights — and with NETNOW’s endorsement, we will fight for change together.
Honored to receive the endorsement of the largest Hispanic Democratic organization in Texas. Working with MALC, I fought discriminatory laws allowing racial profiling. I support the HUB program for minority businesses and DEI initiatives helping students. Thank you, Tejano Democrats!
Honored to receive the endorsement of Black Austin Democrats in my campaign for Lieutenant Governor!
For years, we’ve worked together fighting for healthcare access, fully funded schools, and opportunity for all Texans. Grateful for their support as we build a Texas that works for everyone.
I appreciate the endorsement from the San Antonio Express editorial board!
Early voting starting Feb. 17 for the Democratic primaries. Endorsements from people who follow politics are important to understanding which candidates have what it takes to be effective in the general election.
Grateful for Austin Environmental Democrat’s endorsement. The right to a clean and healthy environment isn’t negotiable. It’s what we owe our communities, our children, and future generations of Texans.
#goodwin4texasI'm proud to have the Progressive's endorsement. To me, being progressive means working towards policies that ensure hard-working Texans earn a living wage and can afford housing, education/training, healthcare, and childcare. We should always strive to make progress. That's progressive.
Having worked closely with Texas AFT to support our public schools, I’m proud of their endorsement for Lt. Governor. We must ensure students get the best education, teachers are paid fairly and treated with respect, and programs keep students engaged in learning. Thank you Texas AFT!

Today I met with faith leaders from across our district for a conversation about serving our community. When we bring diverse voices to the table, we strengthen our ability to address the needs of all Texans. Together, we’re building bridges and finding common ground to better serve our neighbors.
I enjoyed marching in the MLK Day parade in Houston today. People of all backgrounds came out to celebrate a man who led with passion & compassion, who shared his dream for the world and who is revered by all of us who believe in a better world. Happy Martin Luther King Day.
#Goodwin4texasHey North Houston voters... we'll be in Cypress for a Meet-n-Greet event on Thursday night. Sign up below!!

#goodwin4texasI am deeply concerned with the circumstances surrounding the arrest and deportation of a mother and her 5-year-old daughter - who is a US Citizen - from my district last Monday.
Texas has $662M for the opioid crisis but has spent only 0.2% on treatment programs. While money keeps flowing in, it sits unused—even as 1 in 4 Texans has been affected by an opioid overdose.
When we fund interventions, they work: fentanyl deaths dropped 42% last year.
On the trail in Robstown today, listening to the voices that matter most: yours. From the coast to the Capitol, Texans are ready for leadership that puts people first. Every conversation reminds me why I’m in this fight. Together, we’re building a Texas that works for all of us.
#Goodwin4TXTexans are tired of the same old politics. I’m working to make life more affordable, from healthcare to cost-of-living to real support for public schools, not voucher handouts. Let’s bring real solutions and put Texans first. Watch my Capitol Tonight interview at
bit.ly/spectrumVG #Goodwin4TXI’m looking forward to spending time with folks in the Dallas–Richardson area this Saturday! Come meet me, share what matters most to you, and be part of the conversation about where Texas goes next.

secure.ngpvan.com/cv-RaVEEpkWG...What is the right number of new data centers? Should Texas limit the number? Should we only incentivize those that limit their water and energy consumption coming from the grid? As Lt Governor, I will be open to feedback from people like you who are affected by AI and data centers.

#Goodwin4TXHow do we protect the American dream of owning your own home? When I am Lt Governor, that will be one of my priorities.
#Goodwin4TX #housingaffordability #newhome #texas #txAffordability and raising the minimum wage go hand in hand. Governor Abbott vetoed the summer EBT program that would have provided food for kids. If workers earned a living wage, they wouldn't have to rely on government programs. Let's start by raising the minimum wage.
#GoodWinforTX #TX #TexasHappy New Year from McKinney Roughs Park!
Happy New Year’s Eve! I am making black-eyed peas for good luck. What is your tradition? My resolution is to remain focused. What is yours? We are just seven weeks away from early voting, starting February 17. Vote for me, vote for a Good Win!
Thanks to Museo 956 and @save_the_san_juan_hotel, UTRGV professors, author Daniel Garcia Ordaz and all the people I met in RGV recently. I learned a great deal from our conversations. Keep working to educate all of us about the history and culture of South Texas!
Got a sneak peek at Palo Pinto Mountains State Park and it’s going to be incredible! This park is still under construction, but once it opens, it’ll be a must-visit. We must continue to invest in preserving our natural beauty for everyone to enjoy. Check
tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/... for updates.
There is no place for hate. I condemn the hateful, antisemitic violence that happened in Australia and happens here in Texas, too. Additionally, we can and must address gun violence. We can do two things at once: allow for responsible gun ownership, AND improve our laws to make communities safer.
Do we need some vague promise of baby accounts in the future, or should we simply invest in our kids now?
On the road again! Today I’m going to Collin County for a ballot draw. This is how the order on the ballot is determined, county by county. Regardless of the order, I hope I’m your number 1 choice in the March primary!
Traveling across our great state and connecting with local leaders like Laura Hinojosa, Katherine Garcia Pérez, Richard Garcia, Lonnie Guerrero, Joanne Garcia, and Ellie Torres reminds me why I'm in this fight—these conversations aren't just about policy, they're about the priorities of Texans.
Acting Comptroller Kelly Hancock just dismantled a program that for decades gave small businesses a fighting chance. This isn't about ending discrimination. It's about consolidating power with corporations, leaving small business owners and the communities they support to pay the price.
Speaking out against unchecked executive power that targets civic organizations without legislative oversight or due process. No one should have the authority to strip Texans of their rights, simply because they’re affiliated with groups he disagrees with.
Happy Thanksgiving! I’m grateful for the privilege of serving our community and for each of you who make Texas stronger. Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful day filled with good food, great company, and cherished moments.

It's Time for a Change in Texas Leadership. Dan is proud that there are TWO Latino republican state Senators. Do the math, Dan Patrick! You're out of touch with REAL Texas voters.
#goodwin4tx #candan #TurnTexasBlueYour vote is your voice—and I’ll fight to make sure it’s heard. Today at Tarrant County Commissioners Court, standing against the closure of 100+ voting centers. Democracy means access for all.
#goodwin4tx #candan #turntexasblueHeaded to Kendleton for the dedication of the African American Heritage Monument and Park, a tribute to the descendants of formerly enslaved people who founded one of Texas’s first Freedmen’s towns.
One of my favorite parts of traveling across Texas is learning the stories of communities like this.
This says to me you have too much money in your campaign coffers. It’s time for campaign finance reform. Unlimited contributions = corruption.

Dan Patrick pledges $1 million to expand Turning Point USA across Texas
Turning Point USA was founded by the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Book recommendation: “Star Spangled Jesus” by April Ajoy. She grew up with a dad who was a Pastor in an evangelical church, but started asking questions. She discovered what Christian Nationalism is and writes about her discovery. Always question and keep learning!
Yesterday my team and I volunteered at the Central Texas Food Bank as our neighbors face uncertainty during the federal shutdown. When Washington fails to act, Texans step up for each other. No family should have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table.
It's Time for a Change in Texas Leadership. We know that big money tries to buy our politicians. It's amazing what a $3 million "donation" will get you.
#goodwin4tx #candan #TurnTexasBlue🎃 Happy Halloween, Texas! 👻
Whether you’re trick-or-treating or handing out candy, stay safe and enjoy the festivities with your neighbors. Thanks for making our community such a special place to celebrate!
Texas deserves better. For too long, corruption has stood in the way of progress. It’s time to clean house, build a stronger coalition, and fight for every Texan in every corner of our state.
During the federal shutdown, many in our community are facing uncertainty.

The Alamo renovation project is on time & on budget, what more can we ask for? Oh, the CEO running it wants a broad history to be shared w/visitors. Dan Patrick just won’t have that.
