- ❀ : "anyone want to be sent reluctantly on a quest and feel ever - so uneasy and off - put by the fact they've now secured a witch of unnamed background and origin watching over their every move ?" i ask the crowd as they begin to leave their seats . ( they know what she's plotting already )
- ⠀⠀similar silence swathes the witch as dreary eyes roam the sights. such colors、so unfamiliar、inviting、foreign. she rests on a nearby rock、a tad higher up to accommodate for her smaller stature. “ might this be thine duty ？ keeping watch o'er such plentiful plains ？”
- ⠀⠀“ mm .. ah ？” a handful of blinks withdraw the woman from her silent studying. “ oh、yes .. forgive mine intrusion、it's simply .. your eyes— they look tired. ”
- ⠀⠀oh、if the poor boy could catch the glint behind the witch's eye as he muses of his capabilities. this man could serve he well、if cards played correctly. “ curious .. ” she begins、her voice raspy and hushed. “ might thou seek abilities to ... 𝘦𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 thine skillset、perchance ？ ”
- ⠀⠀“ Jiaying. ” parroting the unfamiliar name、hands fold together. another set of arms extends from beneath the heavy fur coat— cloaking her lithe form、protruding to adjust the large hat nestled upon unkempt tresses. “ I am the witch Renna. you are not of this land、are you ? ”
- ⠀⠀“ Talon .. ” blue eyes trail over his lowering figure、following his formalities with a soft chuckle. a bit unbecoming of the princess、one could say. “ it would serve well to re - introduce myself. I am the witch、 Ranni. ” one hand raises to her breast as she dips her head to offer a nod.
- ⠀⠀❀ : my deepest apologies to those that write with little ol' me .. i'm much the same with ranni in the essence that i drift in and out of sleep quite frequently ( chronic illness ) .. your patience is deeply appreciated & many thanks for those who have taken time to write with me 🩷(*´∀`)♪
- ⠀⠀“ one could view this waiting as such、yes .. ” head slowly cants to the left、leaving a creaking in the wake of moving joints. it's not oft the snow witch found herself struggling to get a read on someone .. but this one、 she fascinated her. “ yours is a new face. ”
- ⠀⠀“ thee、knight. ” a sole digit raises、extending to point at the hylian. “ of what expertise doth thine possess ? ”
- the snow witch slows her taps、running porcelain fingers down the spine of her tome with a huff. not one for small talk .. though it seems 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 has been evidently eating at her. “ o' tarnished .. forgive mine imprudence .. but ... ” a soft sigh. “ i never hath asked for thy name. ”

- ⠀⠀staring intently at the * 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 with narrowed eyes. fingers splay across a book、of which、impatient taps are directed.
- ⠀⠀whipping out a book with a terribly ornate and ludicrously realistic painting of the erdtree. “ a separate、albeit large、pillar ? ”
- ⠀⠀“while i'm unsure what this “ dragontorch ” entails、i may have something similar to .. suffice thine hunger.” .. eerie smile.
- ⠀⠀it takes a few moments for the witch to fully wake、her lids heavy with sleep as her attention summons in the form of a perking head; curiosity. “ ahh .. attentive as always、 tarnished. offering to render aid even when mine eyes slumber. ” lips quirk into the ghost of a grateful grin.
- ⠀⠀“ 𝘮𝘩 .. ? ” as the princess's form is straightened、her terribly large hat tilts、as if to cancel out the weight redistribution. sapphire eye flutters open to flit around before landing upon the Tarnished— a deep blue dusting pale cheeks as realization dons.
- ⠀⠀the witch's tiny figure ever — slightly 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔 earthbound、sleep swathing her lithe form. nearly about to fall off her seat、 which she's so neatly perched on、too ...
- ⠀⠀“ thine fur ... ” a drowsy blink dashes wintry features、her other set of arms extending to compare touch 'pon her own furry coat. “ knotty .. yet still curly. you do not tend to it、do you ? ”

- ⠀⠀such 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 the wyvern speaks of、 although not innately the same as the princesses, bled bone — deep; insatiable。 unyielding。 tiresome。 “ chance .. what a curious thing。 fate to see thine twice、perhaps ? ” slender is the ball — jointed hand that raises to stroke the knotty、 alabaster coat。
- ⠀⠀。。。 a hushed sigh partners the slow turning of a petite frame, eyes downcast。not one for idle chat, was she。 “ and of Torrent ? ” the witch begins, her voice husky。 “ how doest that steed fare ? ”
- ⠀⠀a soft, half — stifled yawn。 dreary eyes remain hidden beneath that .. terribly large hat of hers。

- ⠀⠀the beast would be met with the rare upturn of cracked lips. something akin to a grin, well, in the witch's eyes, that is。 matted fur hovers above the tiny doll, her sight obscured ever — so。 “ thou hast strayed back to mine posting, then ? ”
