- I talked to a guy selling heat pumps, which if someone installs, can qualify them for a tax credit due to the IRA. This tax credit now expires at the end of the year due to the GOP. That's a huge selling point to get one ASAP. He had no idea about it or the IRA.

- What me and a lot of people have discussed lately is how we didn't expect them to tank things that save or make money. Conservation? Sure. Fisheries? Unexpected. Cutting hurricane tracking costs $$$$ even for the wealthy. Just why??

- I can't remember which book I read a decade ago, but it specifically highlighted that virtually all terrorists are either domestic abusers themselves or grew up with an abuser. It radicalized me to the notion that domestic violence is just localized terrorism
