- Reposted by Sam MaceAn extraordinary document. Read it. “Attached to this order is an appendix that identifies 96 court orders that ICE has violated in 74 cases. … ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”
- BREAKING: Judge Patrick Schiltz cancels contempt hearing Friday where ICE chief Todd Lyons was to be forced to testify, but excoriates ICE for defying almost 100 court orders in last month. "ICE is not a law unto itself," Schiltz writes. Doc: www.documentcloud.org/documents/26...

- My latest where I ask do we really want to examine things?

- good stuff. Need to remember the distinction between the dictator and the tyrant perhaps though
- Ignoring this problem is not doing anyone any good either. We need to recognise that elite overproduction has led to a lot of people feeling rejected, neglected, and lost in a world which tells them success matters above all else.
- I think there is also a deeper question around the collapse of the job market in comparison to potential applicants. This is a very real problem
- any ideas for what people want to read on my next substack... I'm fooling around with a few potentials but would love to get people's thoughts

- my fear over dave smith and joe rogan is now serious for the potential damage they are doing to the world.
- theorymatters.substack.com/p/losing-our... This is not simply a small online subculture hiding in their basements. Joe Rogan has around 14.5 million viewers, Tucker Carlson has 16.5 million followers on X, and Dave Smith has almost 1 million followers. All three have had fascists on their shows.
- I spent 20 hours of my life listening to Dave Smith on various podcasts as well as his own. What I found was a terrifying combo of conspiracy theory, racism, and populist nonsense.
- theorymatters.substack.com/p/losing-our... "Rod Dreher, an advisor to JD Vance, went viral for writing a post describing the toxic, racist, and democratically destructive elements of the far right encroaching on the traditional centre-right Republican territory. "

- what is the intersection between being a mega shagger with dubious ethics and a knowledge of politics which makes you worth listening to? This is the kind of publicity-seeking, unserious nonsense which has to stop
