- Last year I had to say goodbye to my bonded pair of cats Ash & Kiwi. Ash we had to say goodbye to July 30th as he was a CKD cat who entered end stage of his disease. About two months after Kiwi unexpectedly followed and passed in his sleep oct 3rd. We found out he had an enlarged ❤️ in sept 2/3
- My grief is lighter and I haven’t cried over them in a while. My partner asked if we could clean Kiwi’s favorite blanket. I didn’t anticipate getting emotional and started balling. I asked if we could put it in his favorite spot after. Pets are family and it is normal to grieve them❤️🩹 3/3
