- Reposted by Annie BattsStaff at a Twin Cities yarn store put together a pattern for a red knit “Melt the ICE” hat inspired by the Norwegian resistance. They thought they would attract 10 people to a weekly knit-along. They’ve sold 70,000 copies, raising more than $250k for immigrant aid groups.

- This winter has been hard and wreaking havoc on my RA riddled joints so focusing on knits like fingerless mitts seems practical. Also reading Hamnet and loving it. Anges reminds me of the song "Savage Daughter" by Wyndreth Berginsdottir. #Knitting #Knitsky #CurrentlyReading #Booksky
- When my yarn vomits up its insides, I just take that as a sign I shouldn’t stop knitting anytime soon. 🧶

- Picked up Alchemised by SenLinYu yesterday and started reading it last night. I like the plot and the direction it's going, but it feels more like I'm reading the second novel in a series where much of the world building has already taken place. This is their debut novel, but am I missing something?

- Reposted by Annie BattsA free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say. This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand. All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

- Typically it takes me forever and a day to block, but I couldn't wait with this project. I love how it turned out and I'm so stupidly proud! #Knitsky Again, pattern by @samantha-west.bsky.social Yarn: Juniper Moon Farm (Patagonia Organic Merino in Wasabi and Smoked)

- Ribbing and first 12 rows of color work complete! So far my first foray into color work is going well, knock on wood. Needed a couple of rows to get into a rhythm of remembering to pick up floats, but I think my tension is ok. Pattern: @samantha-west.bsky.social Yarn: Juniper Moon Farms #KnitSky
- Hi #knitsky, I have been knitting for a long time but I have yet to delve into color work. It's always been a bit intimidating, but eventually I would really like to knit the Bunny Wishes sock by Sarah Kelly. Can anyone suggest a pattern to begin with color work without diving into the deep end?

- #KnitSky If you live in one of the countries that primarily uses the imperial system of measurement, do you measure in inches or centimeters? For everything else in my life I use inches, except knitting because it doesn't feel accurate enough so I use centimeters. Is this a thing for y'all too?
