- I don't know how people have trips without booze at the end.
- I'm out to most of my friends who I don't work with. I am not out to most of my family. And I'm not out at work. There's exactly one person I work with who knows I'm non-binary & bisexual I'm kind of wondering if I should start coming out to more people at work. Be more honest in my day to day life
- Apparently, some people need to hear this: *clears throat* Puerto Ricans are citizens of the United States, same as Carolinians, Georgians, Florida Man, and Texans.
- In the specific instance of "Georgians", I am referring to persons born in the state of Georgia within the territorial borders of the United States, not citizens of the nation of Georgia, in the Caucasus region of Eastern Europe.
- Okay, I might be starting to plan a vacation to NYC this year. I am, at my base, an architecture nerd. New York & Chicago are two cities I've always wanted to really deep-dive into their classical buildings.

View full threadI'm not quite at "borders are arbitrary lines on maps", but I'm definitely at "why we make migration difficult?" I can't fully justify *why* I don't think borders are completely arbitrary, but the notion there's some reason I just can't explain well is definitely a strong gut feeling I've got.
- Oh, and in case it wasn't clear... I'm Gimli in that exchange. I have decades worth of learning that taxation is not theft to work from.
- The best advice I have is "live your life in such a way that you don't become a radiation hazard in death".
