- Frankly, I never quite understood the deal with the "you'd all be speaking X language" argument. If I spoke German, Japanese, Russian och what have you, it would hardly change my life at all. Living under a Nazi regime though, that'd be a terrible prospect.

- After 18 years later, the domain name humus.se is finally mine! 🎉 When I moved back to Sweden in 2007, it was taken, along with most reasonable alternatives. Ultimately I settled for humus.name out of a handful of terrible choices. I was never really happy with it. Finally, order is restored.

- An even better option IMHO, is to not have the user wait for this at all and thus not need to inform them about something they don't understand. One way is to preload all shaders in the background during startup, so that once the user is beyond initial cutscenes and what not, it's all loaded.
