- Super glad that Tel is getting a chance in the Champions League squad. A shame it took injuries to get him there, but he totally deserves it.
- My kid said their dream was reminiscent of what they’ve heard about the “Rocky Mountain Picture Show” and I feel like that would be a better movie.
- Watched the new Muppet Show thing and enjoyed it. Neither of us knew the guest, but she was fine other than her first song being really weird. Yes, the voices aren’t quite right but it’s within reason, imo, except Janice where they went another direction, again fine. Hope we get more.
- It’s been less and less snow every year. Two years ago we had a blip of lots of snow but the trend is heading down. We’re deluding ourselves if we think we can host the 2034 Winter Olympics. You can’t make snow in 55 degree weather. www.sltrib.com/news/environ...
- My spouse spent 30 minutes telling me off for letting our kid play Minecraft because there is no ROI on time spent. Much of it because I said that’s because she doesn’t play with them and doesn’t see their creativity, their problem solving, and their kindness to others on the server who ask for help
- I need someone smarter than me to explain why Spurs look so bad in the first half but then come alive in the second half. This keeps happening and can’t be a coincidence.
- What the actual fuck did I just see? Damn. Pure Solanke.
- Bummer. Horst seemed like such a nice guy. But I agree, our playing and results haven’t been very good. Wish Tottenham would do the same.
- I’ve confused the poor record store guy. He said he didn’t expect such a big smile when he got Night Train in for me. Guess he just doesn’t know me well enough yet. Of course, I had to get a friend and turns out Oscar Peterson played piano on this Louis & Ella album too.
- I really only go to the gym so I can get breakfast at Roots after.
- For my movie pick I showed the wife and kid “Time Bandits”. I hadn’t seen it since I was a kid. I still enjoyed it. The others enjoyed it less. Bummer.
- I wondered at first if my kid was just trying to skip school, but our college student backed them up. So they’re staying home today. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
- This also really shows that the pundits who claim to know if players are playing for the manager are full of shit. Tel is one of the few Tottenham players busting his ass every time he’s on the pitch. And it’s clearly not for Frank. It’s because Tel cares about playing and should stay.
- I don’t blame him and I’m going to be pretty unhappy if Tel goes. I’m also very certain he’ll only be the first among many. While I hope we win this weekend, if they don’t sack him after it’ll just snowball from here with players looking to leave. www.football.london/tottenham-ho...

- Crap. Ripped my shirt. Not a great way to start the day. 0/10 - would not recommend.
- Hmmm.. a whole SF Academy episode around my 2nd least favorite character. But I liked it a lot and he grew into it a bit. He seems to be getter better with his dialog not being so labored by trying to speak low, and the lessons were good ones. Also liked that the jerk guy showed kindness as well.
- Seems I push a lot harder when finger picking than when strumming.
- My kid is starting to wonder if I’ll ever get any good records.
- Wow. My spouse actually recognized the song I was working on. I’m shocked. Maybe I’ll post a video when I get better at it.
- Only exciting thing about this game so far is my mozzarella and basil pizza with hot honey drizzle.
- Yeah, this one is for me. But I already knew that.
- After hearing for years what a great album this is, I finally tried it. It’s okay. I guess it’s just not for me.
- Got super excited to catch an Alpha Tepig in Z-A, but then I remembered I’d already used my gold bottle cap on my Emboar, so the Alpha really doesn’t offer anything over her other than his big size. And big size seems to be unhelpful as they often get stuck between things and then miss attacks.
- Standing of the men’s soccer teams I follow: 11, 12, 14, 15, 18 Maybe the issue is me. 🤷♂️ The women’s teams of several of them are doing better.
- I used to get grumpy about how my own father very abruptly announced he was divorcing mom. But seeing now the alternative of sending your kids regular emails complaining about your wife that state how you only stay because you “don’t believe in divorce” maybe divorce, if handled well, is better.
- Me: What’s your mom watching? Kid: I don’t know. All I know is it takes place in Britain. Me: Oh. Who gets murdered? Kid: I don’t know that anyone gets murdered in this one. Me: But I thought you said it takes place in Britain. Kid: 🤦♂️
- My teenager challenged me to an arm wrestling match. He’s certainly gotten stronger, but after besting him another challenger arrived. I immediately forfeited as she has some serious guns. I wouldn’t stand a chance.
- Enjoyed Starfleet Academy. I get the concerns of some, but I liked the sport stuff and the person growth of the two guys. Love that Reno is back again. Still dislike Jay-Den. His speech is too halting and unnatural as he’s trying to speak with a super low voice. Really like SAM.
- The first duty of a government, before anything else, is to protect its citizens. NOT murder them.
- *gasp* My state, where the majority religion literally told followers that the closer you were to God the whiter your skin would get, has a racism problem? Say it ain’t so Joe. Say it ain’t so. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
- When you’ve been to the Thai place often enough that they’re like, “Oh, we’re going to make you something off menu that we know you like.” And I did love it. Though it was a little spicy.
- If only Tottenham had hired a manager who said he would make our defense his priority and then give him 7 months to do so. Oh wait. We did. “Then we concede another bad goal, we can never concede. We should never be that open.”
- Splitting headache and poor outcome aside, it’s a good day to be a Spurs fan. I randomly met three Tottenham fans out and about today. Two are new to town, so I told them about @saltlakespurs.bsky.social and invited them to join us on Wednesday. When hopefully we’ll be playing better.
- I get the lack of alternatives at the moment, but Thomas Frank is actively making Tottenham players worse and he needs to go now to stop the backslide. Just announce a caretaker until summer.
