- Reposted by Janet ForbesUnsolicited writing advice, no. 18364: WORLDBUILDING. How much of your world do you know? How do you process that knowledge? Apply the same rule to your characters. Decide how far their world extends, and help the reader experience it through your protagonist's senses.
