- 💙Happy 47th Birthday Clint Hill. Joined #Rangers for free in 2016 from QPR and became the oldest debutant in club history at age 37. He played 32 games & scored 6 goals, notably a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Celtic, causing a ballgirl behind the goal to implode with rage.
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣ : #Rangers reach the League Cup semi final after beating Dundee 1-0 at Ibrox(37k). MotM Steven Davis scored. The team were booed off. Gio said "When you play well you get the applause but when you don't play well at a club like Rangers they should boo you"
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣6️⃣ : #Rangers become the 1st Scottish team to win a European game in Italy with a 3-2 win over Livorno in the opening Group A UEFA Cup tie at Stadio Armando Picchi. Charlie Adam scored his 1st goal for us, a 20yd volley, alongside Kris Boyd & Nacho Novo goals
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣2️⃣ : #Rangers go 12 League games unbeaten, in pursuit of our 7th domestic Treble, with a 3-0 win over Motherwell at Ibrox (49.3k). Goals came from Lorenzo Amoruso, Peter Lovenkrands and Ronald de Boer scored his 10th of the season. Mikel Arteta was MotM.
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣1️⃣ : #Rangers go top of the League with 2-0 win over Hearts at Ibrox(36.4k). Ally McCoist scored his 10th goal of the season, and had a penalty saved, while £2m summer signing from Sampdoria, Alexei Mikhailichenko, scored his 1st competitive goal for the Club
- 🗓 #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣8️⃣3️⃣ : #Rangers beat Porto 2-1 at Ibrox in the 1st Leg of the European Cup-Winners’ Cup 2nd Round tie, at Ibrox. Goals from Sandy Clark and Dave Mitchell earned the Gers a lead to take to Portugal. Unfortunately we lost 1-0 away and lost on the away goals rule.
- 🗓 #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣3️⃣7️⃣ : #Rangers play Stoke City (0-0) in a benefit match for the Holditch Colliery Disaster. In appreciation we were gifted the Loving Cup, 1 of only 30 cast, with a request that we toast the Monarch at the 1st home game every year. A tradition we still honour.

- 🗓 #OnThisDay 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣1️⃣ : The Barca Bears parade the ECWC Trophy as #Rangers once again face off against Dynamo Moscow, who we beat 3-1 in the UEFA Cup 2nd Rnd 1st Leg at Ibrox(45k). Lorenzo Amoruso, Michael Ball & Ronald de Boer scored. We won the 2nd Leg 4-1 and met PSG in R3.

- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣8️⃣6️⃣ : #Rangers beat Falkirk 5-1 at Brockville. Robert Fleck scored his 3rd hat-trick of the season, followed by Davie Cooper & Ally McCoist goals. Terry Butcher scored a 1st League goal, unfortunately it was an OG. Cooper was MotM with a hand in 3 of the goals

- 💙Happy 58th Birthday Davie Robertson. Joined #Rangers from Aberdeen for £970k in 1991, won 6 Titles in a row, 3 Scottish Cups & 3 League Cups, including a Treble. He played 250 games and scored 6 goals. His last game was winning #9IAR at Tannadice before joining Leeds for £500k

- 💙Happy 24th Birthday Nathan Patterson. Joined #Rangers in 2009 age 8. The Right Back played 27 games and scored twice, with his 1st goal in a #UEL match versus Antwerp only 16 seconds after coming on. Part of our record breaking 55 team before joining Everton for £12m+ add ons.
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣ : #Rangers bounce back from our Liverpool humbling by beating Motherwell 2-1 at Fir Park. Man of the Match Malik Tillman ran from his own half to dink it past Liam Kelly, before John Lundstram headed home from a corner to close the gap with Celtic to 2pts.

- 📷 #PhotoOfTheDay - Walter Smith leads the way in a January 1992 training session in his first full season as #Rangers Manager. He could afford a wry smile after beating Celtic 3-1 at Parkhead days earlier. Walter would lead us to win #4IAR and our 1st Scottish Cup since 1981.
- 🔄 #VintageRangers : Willie 'Bud' Johnston sits in the Nou Camp dressing room proudly posing with the European Cup Winners Cup after scoring twice in the iconic 3-2 win over Dynamo Moscow. It was the last Trophy he won at #Rangers before being sold to West Brom for £138k in Dec.

- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ : Philippe Clement is appointed as our 19th permanent Manager, on a 3.5yr contract. Clement said, "I am honoured to have been appointed as the new manager of #Rangers". The Clement era began with a 4-0 win over Hibs and he soon led us to win the League Cup
- 📷 #PhotoOfTheDay : Willie Henderson(22) & Jim Baxter(27) relax while on Scotland duty ahead of a Home International against Wales in October 1966. We drew 1-1 in the British Home Championship. Denis Law scored. We'd beat Ireland and World champions England to claim the honours.
- ⏪ #VintageRangers : Jock Shaw & Willie Woodburn help push while George Young drives. Left of Shaw is a young John Woods & Billy Simpson. Behind Woodburn is Willie Thornton & George Niven. Shaw became well aquainted with the equipment after retiring and becoming Club groundsman.
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣6️⃣0️⃣ : Scot Symon's #Rangers beat Jock Stein's Dunfermline 3-1 at Ibrox(37k). Ralph Brand scored a brace, before a rare Harold Davis mistake from a passback gave away a goal. Jimmy Millar hit the 3rd with a left foot volley. Alex Scott hit the woodwork 3 times.

- 💙Happy 41st Birthday Kevin Thomson. Joined #Rangers from Hibs for £2m in 2007. Over 3 seasons he played 109 games and scored 3, with his debut goal in an Old Firm win. Helped us win consecutive League Titles, 2 League Cups & 1 Scottish Cup, aswell as reaching the UEFA Cup Final
- 💙Happy 47th Birthday Steven Thompson. Joined #Rangers from Dundee Utd for £200k in 2002. Over 3yrs he played 85 games with 23 goals, including in the Old Firm & #UCL. He was part of a Treble winning side and won 2 Titles, 1 League Cup & 1 Scottish Cup. Joined Cardiff in 2006.
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣6️⃣ : Kenny Miller volley's in his 100th #Rangers goal in a 1-0 win away to Inverness. Black armbands were worn, banners displayed & a minute silence held in memory of Ryan Baird who died when his RSC bus overturned. The driver was jailed for dangerous driving
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣7️⃣ : Due to an injury crisis, #Rangers sign Richard Gough for Free from Kansas City Wizards. He made his debut days later in a 7-0 win over Dunfermline and scored in a win over Celtic 3 games later. He played 30 & scored 2 before joining San Jose Clash in MLS

- 🗓 #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣8️⃣3️⃣ : #Rangers announce we'll send a team to participate in the newly created Tennents’ Sixes Competition being held in January. The televised tournament would earn each of the 9 competing Clubs £3k. We won the inaugural Tournament at Falkirks' Coasters Arena.

- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣0️⃣ : £1.4m signing Oleg Kuznetsov looked world class on his debut as #Rangers beat St Mirren 5-0 at Ibrox. MotM Mark Walters scored 2, set up 2 (McCoist, Johnston) & won a penalty converted by Ally. Oleg hit the post from 30 yards. He was injured 1 week later
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣6️⃣2️⃣ : Willie Henderson marks his 1st Scotland call up by running amok in #Rangers 5-2 win over Airdrie at Ibrox. He had a hand in 3 goals and won a penalty. Jimmy Millar(2), Davy Wilson, Ian McMillan & John Greig scored. Willie scored versus Wales days later.
- 🗓️ #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣5️⃣1️⃣ : #Rangers beat Celtic in the League Cup Semi Final at Hampden(86k). Willie Thornton headed home the opener, assisted by a George Young free kick from the halfway line. Joe Johnson hit the 2nd and Willie Findlay sealed the win to set up a Final with Dundee
- 🗓 #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣1️⃣9️⃣ : #Rangers sign 18yr old David Ditchburn Meiklejohn from Maryhill Juniors. The Hall of Fame Defender became Club Captain and played at Ibrox for the next 18yrs. He played 563 games, scored 46 goals & won 35 Trophies, including 12 Titles & 5 Scottish Cups.
