- I keep waiting for the underground goth community to realize that the way upward is to be mutually supportive of one another. So many bands act like they exist in a vacuum - there is a sense that attention is a zero-sum game in which one artist’s success detracts from another’s
- Until you realize their success is also your own, you won’t get very far. I strongly believe this is exactly what underground black metal is doing right. I am not sure what has made goth so susceptible to atomization but the trend is undeniable
