So, the implications of AI art sucks, and probably an inevitable spiral we're going down, but as for text-based AI... I kinda get it. I was playing with KoboldAi and Gemma for a few hours, playing with scenarios and it was pretty interesting. Not Shakespeare by any means, but I kinda get the appeal.
Jan 19, 2025 14:34Being able to create a pretty immersive interactive story can be appealing. As someone who read those Choose Your Own Adventure books as a kid, this gave that same feeling, only on a bit more free and expressive level.
